Snow
Words and Music by James Durst

morning
nose
fresh from goosedown bed
pressed on jackfrost
windowpane
awakens the sleepy eyes
to the virgin white velvet
brought by night
iron rail
frozen balcony landing
cloaked in snowflake fur
inviting the gravestone sky
to make icy love
to its naked frame
crystal fluffs
dancing without sound
shatter on the
breathwarm glass
in concert with
noises of never
winterbare
silent
symphonies
